WIND

By this stage of December, even the biggest Scrooges have accepted that the holiday season is here – and since we started feeling festive weeks ago, we’re feeling ready to give out some gifts to new and existing customers:

For existing customers who are eagerly following our network expansion news, we’re lighting up a ton of new sites, including entire new cities, between now and Christmas. This week we’ve officially launched WIND network coverage in Abbotsford, BC and Cambridge, ON. Through the next week we’ll be in the final testing stages for London, ON. Look out for more news about coverage in that area coming very soon.

If you’re looking to pick up a new WIND device as a gift or for yourself, you should definitely visit a WIND store check out our latest smartphone, the HTC Amaze for $249 with no term contract and new sale prices on our favourite flip phones like the Samsung C414 for $49 and the LG dLite for $79. If you’re shopping online, we’ve got a web exclusive offer: when you buy a WINDspeed E366 Mobile Internet Stick, we’ll send you a free WINDspeed wi-fi router dock to go along with it for free ($70 value). The wi-fi router dock lets you easily create a personal password-protected wi-fi hotspot that works anywhere on our network to support multiple laptops, tablets or other wi-fi enabled devices. All you need is your Mobile Internet Stick and a place to plug in. Learn more about it here.

Last but certainly not least, we’re feeling extra warm and fuzzy about our new customers this December and when you hear we’re giving you $200 as a holiday gift when you join WIND with a new regular monthly plan worth $25 or more, we hope the feeling will be mutual. And of course, our can’t-be-beat Oh Canada promotional plan continues to be a top pick for anyone wishing for a 2012 full of unlimited text, talk and data.

Happy Holidays!

Great to see the expansion – please remember to finish what you started in the north-west part of Metro Vancouver! Still lots to do in North and West Vancouver, patiently waiting…

Why is expanding to New Cities when it can’t fix the ones it’s in right now. We need 5 bar reception everywhere in the GTA. Come one, Plug those wholes in Brampton. I can’t even use my phone in my basement. Lets make sure no one can poke fun at Wind for poor reception again.

You had a potential customer with a $150 C7, but no locations wanted to pick up their phones to confirm stock. Too bad.

I have recently moved to Scotford (Industrial Heartland of Alberta) NE of Edmonton where it shows Wind Away on my mobile that means Roaming charges will apply if I use my cell phone. My colleague has Bell service and he can still use his cell phone without roaming charges. I suggest that Wind Mobile should extend its Wind Home Zone especially to cover Industrial Heartland near Edmonton Alberta.
