WIND

We think the Super Smart Plan is one of the biggest and best value opportunities we’ve ever offered, and based on what we’re hearing from customers, it sounds like Canadians agree. For those of you who’ve been eagerly asking if this offer will be extended, we’ve got good news: We’ll be offering this exclusive $29/month unlimited talk, text and data plus voicemail offer through the month of October.

It’s one of several reasons why this weekend is the perfect time to hit a WIND store near you. Across the country we’ll be getting more of our top smartphones like the Google Nexus S, LG Optimus 2X and the BlackBerry Curve 3G – all of which are available at amazing prices thanks to the WINDtab+.

And our expansion in the KW area continues: if you’re looking to go shopping in Guelph you can visit our location on Old Quebec Rd or stop by the Stone Road Mall at 435 Stone Road West (thanks, Dave!), which will be opening tomorrow – we look forward to seeing you there!

Oh jeez, why are ya’ll wanting to buy a Blackberry? You know in 6 months to a year, they are going to get sold out. If not, in 3 years, they’ll be bankrupt. All their phones are outdated in terms of hardware and yet hold the same prices as those phones with dual-core technologies and advanced graphics engine, not to mention twice as big of a screen.

Then comes the problem with Blackberry OS. The OS will be replaced with the QNX operating system soon, so all the Blackberry OS you buy now will be obsolete in 6 months.

Think ahead before you buy.

Oh, and it is not possible to upgrade your Blackberry OS to the QNX operating system, unless you root it and thus void your warranty. Stupid right?

There is no Wind coverage in the Durham region in the cities of Courtice and Bowmanville. Wind is just a minor, parochial player like Solo, Fido, Koodo, etc. I don’t think that they are ready to compete head-on with the established incumbents like Bell, Rogers, and Telus. Winds management won’t even clarify when the company will expand the coverage to Courtice and Bowmanville areas, they are very arrogant and indifferent. These cities have been in the so-called “Expansion Zone” since the launch of this company. I expect things to remain unchanged until Wind’s demise or until it gets bought out by the incumbents after two more years.
